These are my main Shotguns I use for hunting, The Side by side is a 1958 FOX Model B (Sold for over $175 in 58') It was my uncles. I use it for Small game i.e rabbits, squirles and even deer.
The second is my other deer hunting rig ( Swede M 96 #1) It is a Russian over and under 7x57 and 12 gauge with 3 inch chambers. You get two guns for the price of one. I love combo weapons.

Norton, I know what you mean about the combos. Several years ago I sold a vehicle to a retired Army full bird and we got to talking about guns. He asked if I would like to see his collection of Merkels. When I said "Yes" he said he would bring in several the next day. When he showed up, he had 12 double cases with various drillings, all engraved with high dollar wood, in different caliburs and configurations. When I asked where he had got them, he told me that he brought them back after WWII as "war trophies" as he was one of the officers in charge of the disarmament of the Germans after they had surrendered. He said that the people brought all kinds of these beautiful firearms in and our soldiers just tossed them in a pile. He rescued as many as he could before they were destroyed. What a waste.

My grandfather brought home a shotgun or two after WW2, under that same circumstances. Also managed to get a K98.

always love your pictures... even though they are new, they still look retro!

You should have a Schlitz can in EVERY picture! LOL

Norton, I admire that bench you've got there.
Savage had a line of combo guns that were real bargins, a shotgun over a rifle tube. You used to be able to pick one up for $50-$75 but I guess they've become collectable.
