It would appear as though our friends at FGW have gotten the hint that their reputation is, well, crap. They have started doing business under at least two other names - Florida Armory Inc. and High Velocity Enterprises Inc.

Same people. Same business practices.

At least one person has filed charges against the company for fraud.

Thanks for the heads up. I stay far away from Florida Gun Works as I have heard nothing good over several years.

Good research. What made you look them up?

Switching business names is a very good indicator of who not to do business with.

There were a couple people asking about them on another board. I got to digging for their phone number and decided to check the state of FL business licenses. Low and behold.

One of the sites reports one of the owners, Myrna, claimed they did NOT associated with Florida Armory. She states they are totally different companies and she doesn't know anyone over there.

Does anyone know if they still advertise in Shotgun News? If so, I wonder what the publisher's stance on accepting advertisements from companies like FGW is.

not sure if you are trying to say strapons and joeken are the same or not? If you arent, then forgive me. If you are then

speshul strapons and joeken are 2 completely different companies.
ive met the infamous toad belly at the sar show in phoenix, and the 2 knobs from joeken at one of the vegas gun shows.

I was wondering about Florida Armory. I had never heard of them until recently. They do seem to have a different address from Florida Gun Works.

Confirmed from the Florida Division of Corporations web site, it looks like TAYLOR, MYRNA is/was involved with both Florida GunWorks and Florida Armory.

"speshul strapons and joeken are 2 completely different companies."

--> Ah...thanks Perro del Diablo...it has been a couple yrs since I've heard either mentioned.

"is CAI better than them then?"
-->At least CAI delivers the product, and you know it'll be a bit hit or miss. These other outfits...just plain crooked.
