Years ago I was out at Champlin & Haskins shop in Enid, OK when they were testing a .600 Nito built on a Brevex Magnum mauser action. Absolutely beautiful! Problem was the customer wanted a hinged floor plate and they were trying to put in a spring on the latch where it wouldn't open due to recoil yet still be able to be opened by someone other than Superman. Only way to try this was to shoot it and then put in a different spring. They were looking for ANYBODY to shoot this monster as they all had large bruises on their shoulders from earlier, so I can appreciate this poor SOB when he touched off that cannon. It is funny though, especially when it isn't happening to you.

LOL!!! I've seen the rifle one, but not the handgun. Suppose that idiot HAD used just one hand as he first held it? The term 'get a grip' really means something here.:3stooges:

Wow, I guess Haji needs to work on his grip. The only one of them that could keep the rifle in his hands was the last guy.

But not the Haji's firing the elephant gun. Two points here: 1. the first guy was brave. 2. the next several were trying to be brave.
On an East German border tour years back I saw an anti-tank rifle that looked like any normal bolt action rifle except it was 8 feet long and big and fat all over. I think near a 20mm bore. Looked like a demo model for a class. It was the real deal though and it was used for tanks. Broke shoulders and collar bones it was said so the ones that just had to use it backed up to a tree and fired it. Anybody hear of this rifle and or the name?

I do think that anything over fifty caliber is a dd, There were conversions for boys anti tank rifles, and I think the finnish ones too. what you do is convert them to fifty cal for the most part, as getting the exotic ammos might be really hard to get your hands on.
