Had this posted over at cetmerifles, so i thought i'd put it up here, but this time with a range report. A few weeks ago i picked up a CZ75 SP-01. DA/SA, 9mm, 19+1 rounds, night sights. I opted for the manual safety model rather than the tactical model which offers a decocker.

So far i've only ran about 250 rounds through it, and it went through without a hiccup. no FTF, FTE, stovepiping, etc. gun runs smooth. The balance and ergonomics on the pistol are excellent, and with the full length dust cover and tactical rail, it adds a bit more weight out front that aids in reducing muzzle flip.

Accuracy is exellent, these targets were shot with aimed rapid fire, basically as fast as i could line up the sights and squeeze the trigger. Most of my groups today were hitting a bit low and left, but i think that is me yanking the trigger a little. SA trigger pull breaks crisply, but there is a bit of creep in the trigger before it breaks. I haven't shot it off of a rest yet, but i'm fairly confident that the gun is more accurate than i am.
I tried running a mag or two with double taps, at first my two shots were pretty spaced out, but towards the last of the first mag i shot this way, they grew closer together as i got used to the trigger.

Here's one showing the brass leaving the gun, you can also see another piece of brass around my right knee.

So far I'd have to say thatit is the best $500 i've ever spent on a pistol. The more i shoot it, the more i love it. Hopefully i'll have a set of Houge rubber grips on it by the middle of the week.
