Opening Restaurant: in Austin

Hey Austin guys,

My friend's family is opening up another Vietnamese restaurant in Austin in the new Southpark Meadow shopping area. They are opening up sometime this week around the 9th.

Everything is 25% percent until the end of the month, which is pretty good considering how inexpensive their food is priced normally. So any Austinites in that area or not in that area should go and check the place out. It's called Pho Thaison

i'll be in austin town the first weekend in march...... you can guarantee i'll stop by and check it out.... now if i could convince someone to open up a Vietnamese restaurant here in Corpus christi..... (ones we have are, at best, ok)

The closest vietnameese food to here, is in Tulsa or Ft. Smith, but alas only old line number chinese food, and the buffet places here in McAlester. Dang now I am jonesing for some korean food too. :)

Do they make 'poork in a clay pot"? that hasta be my fave VN dish.

The VN rest 18blox from me house is called Long Than. cheap and good. I never knew there were so many kindsa eggrolls/spring rolls.

Unfortunately, I'm in Orlando. Ever since I broke up with my ex, I'm pretty much blackballed from all the Vietnamese restaurants around here. I don't miss her, but I do miss the Pho.

yeah they can make it as spicy as you want. In fact, some people order the food so that it comes out bright red hah

Now I want Vietnamese food... Closest to me is like 40 miles away...if I lived in Austin I would be there for sure
