This is constant and continuous. Once again we see our highest elected official pandering to the third world.

Del Rio Mayor Efrain Valdez boasted on Feb. 22 that "Secretary Chertoff stated publicly after the meeting [with Texas border mayors] that Texas doesn't need a fence."
Well, they need something as that is one of the busiest areas for drugs and illegals coming into this country. What they need is the Great Wall of China! Bush has sold out the average American to his cronies in big business. I can't even think why anyone would want a unified North America unless it was to line their pockets because of sub standard goods and cheap labor coming in from the South. Protect the borders? What a bastard.
Don't know if any of you thought about this, but I wonder how the Teamsters is going to take this?

All I can say is this makes me angry! :BSFlag: I feel betrayed, like there isn't a single politician that cares about our country. I'm joining the Constitution Party, that was the last straw! Screw the republicans and the democrats, they're both just out for their own profit!!!!!!

I think NAFTA all those years ago opened the floodgates, and here comes that water.
They've been trumpeting the new highway section here in IN called the 'interstate commerce connector" (curiously not shown in this version of the map) as a way to relive our local Indy traffic woes. Sure, whatever. I fgure after it is built, then they'll tip their hand.
With this getting the greenlight, how did we sink the Dubai Ports World acquisition of the US ports? Maybe ther IS still hope on this one...a way to stop it...
I miss the days of Reagan and the true Conservitive Republicans, not these spendhappy sellouts.
ALso, the reason that they use illegal in the US is plainly statd in this article: they are willing to work for less. So, the corps in the US have sold out because they are unwilling to pay what some US workers DEMAND for certain jobs. Rather than pay what a job is worth, the Big Corps go aoutside or offshore production.

Well obviously a lot of politicians are taking bribes and will sell anything. It also does not help that we always have a choice between the frying pan or the fire. There is bound to be a few legit politicians. Just the crooked ones are good at getting rid of them before they have the power to fix this mess.

...to bitch to about it...in countries without such, they are relegated to blowing up pipelines or roads (Africa, anyone?)
