Hi, Purchased 2 CFS Cetme kits awhile back and both buttstock assemblies have recoil spring guides with play in them. Is it normal For them to "wobble" a little, and if not how do I correct this problem ? I am no stranger to firearms but am a "ROOKIE" when it comes to the CETME family. But am totally addicted to them. Input, Please. Thanks, :icon_neutral: Mike.

So long as they are attached, it won't hurt anything. They are riveted on at the factory, and sometimes loosen up over time.

Just make sure that they are both dead straight.

Like Nalioth said, a little wobble will not hurt. If the stud in the steel buttstock hanger comes out, it can be welded back in from the backside of the hanger, just remove the stock and put the hanger onto the rifle with the rod installed to keep it centered, then tack weld on the back of the hanger.

looks like my G3 assembly needs a dab of welding too. I need to go see my uncles anyway.
