I've just spent a couple of hours looking for demilled 7.62x51 components. I found two sites with bullets, but no brass. www.patsreloading.com and www.hi-techammo.com . Is this it?we're in bad shape if it is.

I watched the whole drama unfold once it was announced that AIM Surplus was out of 7.62. The "usual supply" of brass at the "usual sources" dried up soon after people discerned that the cheap SA 7.62 was gone. Then every gun board had a rise in "thinking of getting into reloading" type threads. It was a panic, and people and speculators started hoarding it all up. I restricted myself to 1k of never-fired brass. I wasn't going to get sucked up into another silly buying panic.
Check GunBroker and EBay - people are selling it off at a profit there. Local ranges are a source too if people haven't already started saving their brass. Keep tabs on all the "usual sources." More could arrive any day.

Don't bet on any more arriving any time soon as it won't. Brass is now worth more as scrap to the metal salvagers than it is to the shooters. I just did a small group buy on brass (10k cases) and the man had a supply of 150K cases. You had to by in lots of 10k and had I not spoken ahead of time, I would have never gotten any as all 15 lots were pre sold. He might get some more next month and if so, he will let me know. But the LC brass has gone from $25-$30/1000 to over $100/1000 because of the price of scrap. Remington, Winchester, and Starline are all going to be raising their brass prices again in the near future as well. Also, if you figure out the price of the brass they are getting on e-bay and Gunbroker, you could just about afford to shoot the Winchester NATO stuff and reload that.

6 tons of small arm military brass sold for $25,000 on the gov't auction site. I am looking for 500-1000 NATO cases, not berdan primed. I can reload that and keep my case of SA sealed, and enjoy my CETME and PTR.
Jacobite, it says your brass is for trade. I don't have any to trade.
