it is made by SONY.
it cost around $150 and is a very small unit.

has anyone else seen this. you take a picture and it records the gps location. would this be useful for the bad guys ?

google earth can only give you a visual just so close. this can give a visual very close..with gps location.

All civvie market GPSs have a built in 'random direction fudge factor' of about 100+M so that they can't be too accurate, and the actual coordinates will be no good for say, an artillery strike or missile strike.

No longer true. Selective ability was "permantly" turned off.

Run of the mill civilian GPS can get +- 1 meter with averaging or +-10 meters on the move.

/What is scary is the thermal imaging in the Cadilacs is more sophicated that the Desert Storm Iraqi tanks.
