I am going through a little obsession with WWII Russian military goodies right now, and was planning on getting a Mosin Nagant 91/30 at the gun show this weekend. What is a good going price for an average 91/30(no specific date or hex receiver or any other jazz)? I saw one at the local gun shop for $80, but there was a little surface rust on the bolt. Any help would be nice.

AIM has them for $80 and Classic has them for $70. If you don't have a C&R license add transfer fee and shipping. $80 locally isn't bad at all.

I've paid about 99+tax for an M-44, and paid 109 for my 91/30 with bayo, sling, shell pouh, oiler, and tools.

That dont sound too bad, not having to pay shipping and transfer, if the rifle is in good condition, and the bore isnt a sewer pipe.

SOG has 91/30's for $69.00 or $99 for Lams with all the acces:

Now if you want a really nice M44 Dan's has them for $79...$89 for Lams with acces. I think my Lam M44 from Dan's was $99 delivered with a C&R.

between 90-110 for a good 91/30 in good condition
check the bore to make sure it is not pitted, and that the numbers on the bolt match the receiver

Pvt Fuzzy, if you dont have a C&R you have to pay for the transfer of a mail order rifle. Plus you have to pay shipping on any of the mail order rifles. Thus there is a cost, with everyone bantering the prices of the ordering rifles, remember the eighty you are looking at is with the ten or so for shipping and what ever your local FFL will want for transfer(10-25) again if you dont have a C&R.
Thus that Interordnance rifle at $63 will proably add 10 for shipping, and 10-25 for transfer, thus cost you when you get it, 83$ to 98$ when you get it, and you have to do the legwork to order and get it shipped. If the dealer has to do the ordering he has to also collect tax plus order the rifle and such.
