Where to buy shotgun ammo online?

Howdy
Just like the topic says... I'd like to know where to buy shotgun ammo online. I've found a few places, but the local wal-mart still beats the pants off 'em. The object to buying online is to save money in bulk purchases, but so far I've not seen anything to beat wal-mart.

I'm particularly interested in #8 or #9 trap loads for 12 ga and 20 ga

I haven't found anyplace that beats Walmart...especially with shipping. Good luck though.

Back in the day cheaperthadirt had a good deal on seiller & bellot 00 buck shot. Now a days they need to change thier name cause the prices they have for somethings are no where near dirt cheap.

I think your conclusion is right, its hard to beat walmart at shotgun ammo, even in bulk from others.

There should be some major suppliers there in Houston for trap loads. Unlike, imported rifle ammo, the imported target shells are as good or better than the US shells. Go to a shoot there in your area (go to the ATA web sight and look for a registered shoot) and ask these guys where they are getting their shells. Don't be suprised if someone tells you they are buying them in a large group buy of 5,000 rounds each to save on shipping. Also, it is dirt cheap to reload shotshells as you buy the cases by the target box full, buy recycled shot, and if you are really on a budget, go out and pick up the once fired wads and sort and wash and use them again.
