I am posting this here because my wife looks in now and then...
My wife is a wonderful woman--hard working, a good Mom to our daughter, and the love of my life--married 16 years this December, I still can't believe how much I love her, and look forward to seeing her at the end of a long day at work.
I met her on a public bus. Noticing that she wore no ring, and that she got off a block from my stop (and was absolutely beautiful!) , I kept my eyes out for her. After some "light stalking", and some friendly rides home, I followed her off the bus and asked her out---It was the best date I ever went on!!
Through all these 16 years, my wife has put up with my silliness, my mid-life crisis, and hasn't complained about my gun habit, even though she did not grow up around them.
God smiled on me the day he put me in that empty seat next to her on that bus, and I look forward to spending the rest of my life with her--

Hear! Hear!

Pigpen, did you mean mirage or marriage? For some they are one and the same! My dear wife puts up with a lot.......and so do I. She wants to know if my Bonus at the end of the month will fund another gun. "Heck No!" says I. It will fund ammo with 1/3 of it and she can have the other 2/3's. Setting her up...maybe. I have no FAL, Garand, M1, or Dragunov yet! :icon_biggrin:

being un-married. I'm totally fine with that. I still have my lovable daughter to get cards/candy for, annd she made me a valentine card, and here and grandma made dinner fer me and grandpa last night, with dessert and everything!

Of entertaing my daughter, my wife & the woman that introduced us. She's staying with us for awhile so we have lots of love here now.

Also my wife got an Israeli K98.
She wanted an Izzy Fal but we agreed that the Mauser had more character, real historical value and would suit her better.

I'm sad she doesn't seem to appreciate the grenade launcher & bayonet, but I do.

Flowers, love & military firearms...what a nice day!
