Actually they I think they keep it in the space craft, due to the fact one dropped far off course, and they cosmonauts had to stay over night in the middle of the nowhere with the wolfs nearby, thus the thought of armed space craft has nothing to do in space but more after you get back.

That's nothing...the Soviets flew a manned military space station in the late '60's armed with a 23mm cannon intended for shooting at US spacecraft and satelites.

Well, even better, the US is going to shoot down one of our own spy satellite some time next week with a missile.

Didn't the Chinese do that a year back or so?

They dinn;t shoot it as it re-entered, they shot it while it was still in its low-earth orbit...which pi$$ed off a lotta space programs in other countries, sinnce it put 5000 micrometeorites zinngin around to endanger other countries stuff up there.
I think the Chinese knew this B4 they did it.

Here's to Yuri Gagarin, the first Soviet (and human) to go into space and live.

I am green with envy.. they are ahead of us in the Space pistol race.
''Mr President we have a Space Pistol Gap!''
If Some Flying Saucer crew try to board the Russian ship. They will have their little green heads blow off. If they try to get on the shuttle what can we do? hit them with fire ax.
What did we do with that Automag from the late 70s? That would do for a Spaceman's gun or the High Standard Model 10 12 gage bullpup Autoloader.
''Gee I wish we had one of those space guns''

Hey, one of those looked like a HILTI gun painted black with a scope on it... Come to think of it, another one looked like a broomhandle mauser pistol with a scope. Hey, Wait a minute... I'm seeing a pattern here... Put a scope on something else and it becomes a space gun! We should get George Lucas to make a "Nasa Issued Gear" documentary and send it to the rest of the world. It would be the greatest military bluff of all time.

the TP-82. It is a three-barrel pistol that can be used for firing signals and shooting game. The two upper barrels are smooth-bore firing 12.5 mm cartridges; the lower barrel is rifled and fires 5.45 mm bullet cartridges. The machete provided in the NAZ survival kit can be utilized as a butt for the gun.
it should go into production id love one!!

Go and watch the first movie, Han Solo's pistol was based on a broomhandle Mauser, the actual storm trooper blasters were based on MG-42 machine guns. The orginal props were made from real demilled weapons, but the laters were cast in durable hard rubbers. You can go to scifi conventions and get lots of these "futureistic weapons"

yep, i'd take a C96 like Solo's, that still functioned. that'd be one badass geeky fun weapon

Looks nothing new but rather a sawnoff shotgun a robber would use:lol:, It would be hard to aim as the stock is lower but would be more accurate if it was inline with the shoulder. As long as it does the job its ok.
