Holy crap, you're right! I just looked at my CAI CETME manual, and YES!! The Mag is backward... God, why do I live on a planet where... You know what? Let that go...

I guess this shows that photographers may not know beans about rifles for sure. I imagine they sent the rifle out to get the artwork done. If you look at their g-3 manual, it looks like they tried to make the mag stright like it is in that cover shot.
