Some five shot runs at 100 yards. Both rifles perform better at 200+ yards. The click up and downs on both return the zero at differing ranges oce set. I still mark the turrets with hash marks for rnges and always shoot the same ammo.
The 1942 has under 300 rounds down the tube. The mid 1990's 110 had 900 down the hole when the picture was taken. I take both scopes off after each shoot to pak them up.
I use 174g Sierra SMK's in the '42 and 168g SMK's in the 110. IMR 4064 has worked best with RL15 or RL19 close in there. I would like to try RL22 with some sub 150g SMK at a 600 yard a zero. The a 125g .311 SMK in the #4.
You can't make a .30 shoot like a 6.5mm with out loosing some energy. But it hase been noted in 1969 that a close miss or off center hit at 600 yards will bumm a bad guy out.
