I met an interesting fellow this past weekend at the gunshow here in Indy. He had a CETME fro 500USD, and I had a buddy looking. It was a good build, and I collected his name and # and let him know I'd be in touch.
His name is Alan Walker, and his brother John was a huey pilot in VN. They are restoring a Huey t make it a working pice of history, and their site is here.

I'm going to go up to Peru, IN and check out the ship in the hangar soon.
He was a nice guy, and what a cool project--to restore a huey!
An excerpt from the HISTORY page:
John and Alan Walker (brother's and business partner's) of Peru,
Indiana, are the founder's of AMERICAN HUEY "369" and are
committed to remembering our Veteran's and the Huey aircraft
they depended on while in Vietnam. John is a Marine Corp
helicopter pilot and Captain who flew the Huey and other
helicopter's while in service. Alan excels in his management
and human relation's skills.
Together, they have acquired the following:
1. 3-UH-1H BELL ARMY "HUEY" Helicopter's, all Vietnam vintage
with combat history.
2. A new 40ft.x60ft. Museum/Hanger.
3. Many Vietnam vintage vehicles and artifacts.
4. An ever growing library of books, pictures and movies that will
help tell the Vietnam War story.
During the past 2 years of investigative work and 1000's of
conversations with Veterans, their families and the general public
(all potential members of AMERICAN HUEY "369" ORGANIZATION),
all agree and recognize the AMERICAN HUEY HELICOPTER to be
an ICON of aviation and the most POWERFUL SYMBOL of the
Vietnam War.
