MP5 parts kits for $1800?

seen some on a website somewhere and they were only that much. is that because you probably have to spend fifteen thousand on a receiver? florida gun works was the site i think... thoughts?

Run, don't walk, away. Run a search on Florida Gun Works. Everyone's experience has been almost universally negative.

PD's can buy brand new MP5's for $1200. I can't see more than $100 in labor cutting it into a parts kit.
