Thought I'd post a few of my 1985 Norinco, still unfired. I did redo the wood, I have owned many of these and 5 Legends, and never liked the shiny wood.I also replaced the small Norinco pistol grip with one from a Legend. I can not tell you all how hard it is not to take this out and fire it! Maybe some day.

Buelligan, you may really want to think about selling a Prochine, any of these prebans are only going UP in value, as NO more will ever come back in country. I would really sell every other thing I own, except my 1911a1 and Cetme, before I would dump that AK. Just my advice. it was Jef

I need to find out what its worth. I have a NORINCO 84s I need to see what that is worth too. I dont shoot them , I shot a deer with the prochine and the 84s I only sighted it in when I bought in the late 80s.

buelligan, for some reason I have noticed the 84s-5.56-seem to sell for more than the 7.62. Try going to gunbroker, and also ar15.com. for some prices. ar15 has an equipment exchange forum-upper right on the home page. Also on the upper left check the AK page. good luck, but don't sell those!

Man, I can tell I'm more of a shooter than a collector, because I don't own a rifle or pistola that I have not shot

Steelcore, ya, I fully understand your point. I never thought I could sink so low as to have a weapon this long and not fire it! The only other one I had and never fired was my unfired-and stolen!- Baby Nambu. Talking about that, I still will pay $500.00 for info to get it back. The serial number is 3323, it was unfired, and stolen in Trinidad Colorado in May of 1975. Any one see it, PLEASE contact me or Trinidad Police,Trinidad Colorado, refer to report number 75-2509, dated 5-26-75. Thanx, and if I get my hands on the thief they will be packed in tunafish cans, and that's the lucky thing for who ever took it!

Planning, thank you for the nice words. From a warrior as you who knows these rifles and had them fired at you I consider your compliment of the highest order.
I predict jef's AK will be deflowered this summer at one of our EBR matches-largely because his wallet winces everytime he $hoot$ his Cetme. The good Lord knows I have been after him to SHOOT THAT AK!!!
The funny thing is, he IS a shooter, not a collector :2pistol:
