Fun mag testing

Took the CETME out again yesterday. Loaded 6 mags with 10 rds each and let fly. Four CETME mags worked fine. One Cetme and the HK mag I took balked in feeding and are now in my junk box o mags. My PTR91 doesn't like CETME mags, even though they fit. I found nearly all the brass, too. I ordered a brass cather anyway.

I've mentioned this before, but what a difference in sound blast when the CETME is fired from the hip! I imagine a cone shaped area that reduces sound somehow, starting at the muzzel and expanding back over the shooter when fired from the shoulder. Firing from the hip puts you out of the 'cone' area. And that's with the flash hider. I haven't tried one with the loudener on it.

Need to find some one with a "Century noise maker" and take it to a crowded range and fire it and see what happens! People will stop shooting, little kids will run and grab the legs of their parents and everyone will come by to see exactly what you have. Its really lots of fun!:toothless:

what is up with that? is it the flash hider or just that gun? i made the mistake when i first got it to shoot it without ear protection and damn my left ear was stone deaf for about 2 weeks nothing but a consitant ring in my ears
