I found this site while looking for info on CETME rifles. I was pretty impressed, so I thought I might as well join in. I just bought my first CETME through Gunbroker, and am still waiting on delivery.

Maybe its spring fever, or more likely cabin fever (we just got a couple of more inches of snow this morning....arrrrgh, enough already!), but I'm really looking forward to trying this rifle out.

Another member from the "Land of the Wind Chill Factor". I just got back from walking the dog and the current temp in western Hennepin County is +5.9 F. With the wind, it was a bit biting over the 1 and 1/2 mile walk. We do it every day an hour after supper, hot, cold, rain, snow. Both the dog and I sleep better. Believe it or not, it's more comfortable in the winter. I can always put more clothes on, but in the heat of the summer, there's only so much I can take off. The dog has even less options.

If you ever need an excuse to go to the range and it's above freezing, gimme a shout. I'm always looking for a reason to go shoot and the range is 8 minutes from my house.

You came to the right place to tune that CETME up, if needed. Just keep reading the stickies in the HK/CETME area on bolt gap, ground bolts, etc.
