Hello fellow enthusists! I've replied a few times so far, but thought I'd take a moment to officially introduce myself to the whole group.
So, here it goes ... My name is Sean, and it's been 10 weeks since my last gun purchase...
Admitting you have a problem is the first step, right??? hahaha
Well, I "fell into" my Cetme about 2 months ago. I came home that night, googled, and tripped over the "old" cetme site.
Wow, I was so impressed! I instantly signed up and started reading as much as I could. I had heard about BG issues with these delayed blowback models and wanted to get myself all "book-learned" before I took it out. Just tons of great info to read, but since I didn't have much to contribute, I just kept my mouth shut...
Then, one day I clicked my shortcut and ... nothing happens ... What the #$%@!!!
Figures ... I finally find the best single source of info ever on my new toy, and <<poof>> it's gone. However, a couple days later I try it again and I see the link here. I must say this is even better - I really like this site and it's diversity of members / weapons.
So, coming from a family of "gun-nuts" AND having been an avid shooter for almost 30 years now (first rifle = marlin model 60 at age 7 - I still have it!) I hope I can chime in more often. Plus, as I get to know my Cetme, I'm sure I'll be more vocal on things regarding this interesting model. What great history!
Well, I attached a pic of my new baby.
Catch you all later!
