The ones at CTD are used. I dont know if dans ammo still has them, but when I bought mine, it was $375 new SHIPPED. And you support small business. From what I hear on HKPro, the CTD scopes are pretty beat up. Still function fine, but aesthetically unpleasing.

Just checked and Dans doesnt have any more..... CTD may be the only option that cheap.

I think CTD lists them as "like new".
I bought 2 from Dansammo, the z24 and the older straight tube model for $345.
The z24 was new and the other was "like new' with just a bit of fading on the dials.
I see some sites trying to gouge these for between 500-600 bucks.
I agree with you on supporting the small shop. That is why I still make purchases at the various gun shops in my area of high margin things like cleaning equipment and such even though I can find it cheaper on the net.

The guy I talked to bought 2 from Cheaper than Dirt, and they were both well-used. 1 of them looked so bad, he sent it back for a placement, and he next one they sent didnt look much better. The mounts were all scratched up, and the scopes looked like they were tossed in a bin together or something. No idea if they are all that way or if they are generally in nicer shape, but I was definitely glad I didnt miss the boat on the deal from Dans.
I bought the repro illuminator from CTD though, and it works fine.
I do want one of the straight tube scopes, and maybe the HK claw mount with the 30 mm rings for varmint shooting with the cetme.

they were in used bout god condition, and boy I liked the reticle. I'd already burned me cash on sling-stones tho...

The reticle is really cool, though doesnt provide much for fine-tuning. More for point and shoot type stuff, though dont get me wrong, you can definitely still use it for long distance shooting once you get used to it.
