I picked it up at the North Store a couple weeks ago. It's a Danish Navy Field Grade. Finally got it cleaned up and took some quick pics:

Nice looking rifle and display. I've decided to order one of those ammo cans a month for my garand.

Thank you. You can never have too much ammo. I'm already putting change in the bucket for the next case. I've only shot 48 rounds so far :thumbup:

Very nice! I was thinking of running over to the North store within the next month or so.

Did they have a many left? BTW...can I ask how much? I may buy more than one if I can scrape up enough $$$.

Also did they have any Carbines for sale there too?

Thanks! They had a rack of "rack grades" and as far as I recall a rack of "field grades" (approx 20 on a rack). But there are a ton more in storage waiting to be put out. Mine was from "the back" and not on the racks yet. Long story if you want to hear it I'll relay it.

Cost for a Field grade is $425 + ammo + tax = about $625ish. I don't know because I also bought one of the pellet rifles for my brother in law while we were there. No, I'm not that nice of a guy but he didn't have a CMP affiliated club card. He paid me when we got back home. I did buy him a box of ammo for his AR while we were there, I am that nice of a guy :grin2:

Carbines? They had them for display. I think they are onsale now or are going to be very soon. Here is a pic I took while there:
