Now I want mine full auto. :machinegun:
Not that the AR is a high recoil weapon. I wish they had done the second part of the video in bursts also. You can settle down into an FA stream once it gets going. I'm a big fan of experimenting with brakes. The physics fascinate me. To that end, I recently ordered a Levang linear compensator as it's the only kind I've never had an opportunity to play with. To date, the most effect I've ever seen from a brake on moderate recoil weapons, was when I put one on an FR-8. My goodness, what a change in personality. My neighbor builds custom .50 BMG target guns. He has promised to let me shoot one the next time he goes to the range to proof a build. Now that's recoil.
Worst recoil I ever experienced so far was a 7mm Magnum on a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight! A friend bought it for a "real good price" and wanted me to help him sight in the scope. One shot later, after the feeling returned to my right arm, I was able to clamp shut the split in my eyebrow. I let him finish sighting it in! :056: You know how weird you look with an eyebrow shaved off? Boy did the stitches itch. After shooting 200 rounds of trap and skeet each week for 8 years, I had to have surgery on my shoulder. Now everything bigger than a .17HMR that I own has a brake on it and recoil pad.
What you do when you're younger eventually catches up with you. :icon_neutral:

That'd be like me gas porting my marlin .22!
