Hey guys its allmost turkey season up here!!. Ohio April 23, Indy April 26, Kentucky April 23?

I can't wait till it comes in. Just got back from the "candy store" ( Basspro ), I picked up 2 new decoys. One is a flambue hen ( 3 position ) and a Flambue " Intruder jake " got a box of Hevi-Shot 3" #5's and a new Primos diaphram call. A question on the diaphram calls, I have not bought a new one in a few years and man I can't get this thing to sound right. It sounds like its muffled and I am really trying to belt it out. I was wondering if I just need to " break it in " I can't remember. any advice would help out on it.

I want to hear who's all going turkey blasting!! And when you do go I want a full report and pics. This year I am gonna try to video tape are turkey hunts once I get mine.

And I want to hear reports of dates of hearing first gobbles ( with time of day ) and if your spotting them ( time of day ) and weather of that day.

Lat of all I want to see some great pics of some rio turkeys, I saw them on tv and man do I wanna bag one. They are buetiful

P.S. Today saw my first 3 toms strutting in a field for the first time this year. I still have not heard a gobble, But I am assuming it won't be long. We have been having some nice weather, it ought to get them singing.

Skybuster, Yesterday coming back from one of our production buildings, I saw two toms strutting around flock, just a toss of a stone from the main road in the plant. The plant I work on is so full of turkey, deer and other wildlife its hard many days not to hit the things when you are working or comeing and going from work, all hours of the day and night too.

I work at the army ammo plant here in mcalester, there is a huge amount of wildlife here. I have days I can pull over on the roads, and toss rocks at the deer and turkeies here.

a couple towns away i could easily run over dozens with a truck. they are trouble there. toms everywhere! you could almost run up and grab one.

the preditor animals are so heavily hunted and killed that deer and turkeys run free in peoples gardens but are not allowed to do anything about it! theyare pest's!
