20 cent Argentina 7,62x51NATO

Found an online ammo store based in arizona that is selling some Argentina manufactured 7,62x51NATO for what looks to be 20 cents a round :drool:. Now they don't sell it by the round unfortunately. It's $199.00 for 1000 rounds delivered which today is pretty doggone good on price.

I don't know much about the quality of the rounds but I do know it's not made in india :dsia:

They also sell Lake City ammunition for 30 cents around or $299 for 1000 and this is current prices for both. Beats the heck out of my local south african supplier for 35 cents a round. Next time I get a hold of some cash I am loadin' up.

Quick note: Click on the ammo can in the center near the top to get to the order/ammo portion of the page. They seem to sell (or will be selling soon) quite a lot of different calibers at some really bitchin' prices and it they sure like to sell in 1000 round lots.

That's been up for a really long time at that price. They also have a disclaimer saying no more on-line orders of certain calibers until they get a steady supply of ammo. You need to call them for any ammo. I called a couple of months back on that Argentine, and it was in poor shape. Maybe they have a different batch now.

I got a case of bulk argentine, the stuff was in plastic baskets in a wooden case, good looking, but I had to buy the entire case.

Yeah, I have been reading around a little more and I think I was hasty posting this thread (= They will be gettin ammo in around middle of May. Like the disclaimer says it's trying to secure a steady source.

From another forum entirely someone "said" they called and they have $500K worth of israeli ammo on its way. Then the rest of the thread is about the possible concern of israeli and other surplus ammo.

Some ass-munch tried to sell me 20 rounds of Indian ammo for $12 at a local gun store.

Granted, I will not be shopping there any more.

We got into rearrangeing one of the bedrooms today, saw the south africian battle packs I got a couple years ago from ctd, I think it was 19.99 each or so.
