What are they gonna think of next?
NFA furniture (http://freshome.com/2007/03/21/furniture-from-weapons-a-peaceful-use-of-weapons/)
Bet you WON'T be seeing any of this at your local furniture mart any time soon . . . .

Only a UN official could think of something like that.

I don't think the atf regulates furniture. We could get a lot of those made up and shipped in and salvage the parts then do the $6,000,000 man thing and rebuild them better and cheaper. :)
Atf regulates machine guns.
And a machine gun by their deff.
Is any fire arm that fires more then once per pull of the trigger.
Aslo includes.
Any reciever of a machine gun, that it not diagonaly torch cut in 4 spots, with a min of 1/4" of metal removed form each cut.
Also includes any device that can be dropped into or added to a semiautomatic
That would cause it to work like a machine gun.

But it's furniture, not machine guns. :icon_twisted:

I like the cut of your think, and the way you jib!
I'd want one, just because I need something to sit on in 'the armoury' and sword chairs are really uncomfotable.
Hey, if they were gonna destroy them anyhow, then put them in a landfill or scrap them, this is just a good recycling....
Imagine the horror the artist would feel when a buch of gun nuts contact him and start placing orders! Ah, that is the cosmic joke in action.
I had a buddy eho worked in cali at the Moto Art location, making furniture outta airplane parts, mebbe I could get him to build some...he'd make millions!
--ETA---
I just emailed him a request for sale info on the weapon art...his website (with more pix) is here.

They are made with already destroyed and salvaged rifiles.
Careful, tho...the funds miight go to some anti-gunner project.
Well know there is only one peace:

I think it's pretty ironic that many/most of us all know each other due to the fact that we have/did have/want CETME's, or are at least interested in them...
And yet.... people are making furniture out of receivers that are in spec.
Probably not one ground bolt amonst all that scrap.
