No surprises here to me, but for those that have said the dems learned their lessen back in 1993 with the last ban and do not believe there will be another ban…here are the straight out calls for new bans.
"The gun issue
Nutter often cites what he calls Clinton's ability to understand how to deal with the problems facing big cities as a reason he supports her. The New York senator's crime-fighting plan includes an anti-gun-trafficking initiative that would be based on partnerships between the Bureau of Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) and local law enforcement to improve tracking of gun crimes and to prosecute traffickers. It would renew the Assault Weapons Ban and repeal the Tiahrt amendment, which limits the ATF's ability to share federal gun-trace data with local law enforcement."
Hillary’s anti crime agenda:

Candidates' gun control positions may figure in Pa. vote:
"Clinton and Obama favor some kind of ban on assault weapons, something McCain opposes.
"I ... think we should reinstate the assault weapons ban (that expired in 2004) in order to give our police officers a fighting chance against the criminals on the street with these military-style assault weapons," Clinton said Tuesday."

Just goes to show you that unfounded, dogmatic beliefs aren't found only in the religeous world. You can hit some people over the head and read all the statistics to them, and they still think guns are demon posessed objects that automatically turn their owners into hardened criminals. I have an idea, though. Let's tell Hillary that we'll give up our guns if her secret service people give up theirs.
MMM maybe they should have an non assault weapon ban cause most guns used in crime are not assualt weapons. LOL

She and others need to open their eyes to how that has worked in other countries. They are either blind and stupid or have a secret agenda.

Thanks for the heads up though. The Dems. have to pass it b/c they will make there sheeple believe these evil guns are slaying cops and riddling homes with bullet holes everyday. Get a bunch of nothing done that only results in taking away from our rights, thats how they do it. But who am I trying to educate here.....

Actually even if they got all they wanted banned they'd eventually want your single shot .22, it'd just be a matter of time. Then they'd go for the swords (I'm not kidding just look at the UK).
What they are doing is pandering to the soccer mom types and those in the minority communities that are uninformed on the actual facts, but hear about “gun violence”...this is fear mongering at its best. See these types (libs) don’t want to be confused with facts, it’s all about making laws that make you feel good and can get them elected, even if these laws are totally ineffective.
That and most importantly these liberal types believe in even bigger government and this is the fundamental core issue. They believe that not only should the government take care of you, they should feed you, school you, house you, give you health care, etc and of course only they can protect you…you don’t have the right and can’t be trusted to defend yourself…the government will take care of it all. No need for defensive weapons in a nanny state, they take care of you. At least that’s what we are to believe, but to me it’s really all about control.

all they are doing is taking the guns out of the hands of us, and allowing the criminals to arm themselves, b/c you know they sure as hell aren't getting rid of them like we'll have to

Mom was just telling me about how all the folks where she walks her dog are terrified of the coyotes (real ones, not the human variety). Needless to say, they're not the gun tote'in tyypes. The conflict between "get someone to protect us" and "but the coyotes are 'natural' and therefore superior to us" is actually very amusing.
I don't think Hillary's got a chance, but I'm fairly worried about Obama once he gets the bulk of Hillary's supporters. Even my natural optimism has limits.

Any in-animate object can be used for good or bad, the only reason one would continue to blame in-animate objects is their inherent belief in humanity is bad.
The power brokers definitely need to control everything they are not in control of most of humanity is happy to make and keep a living and take care of their own.
Power brokers, in almost every case are paranoid by nature (e.g. Stalin, Hitler), their inherent need to conquer and control to address their own paranoia for what they stand to lose.
E.g.
1) nuclear power, power plants, or nuclear bombs.
2) Money, gas exploration, new energy sources, charity, or profits.
3) G3/CETME hobby or assault weapon.
It is obvious too me, where our power brokers heads are at.

she wont let her USSS give up thier guns..... she's more important than u, u dont deserve the ability to be protected from attack, your just a voter, not her, she's the all powerfull...... wow, i cant go on with that b.s. her USSS needs guns, cause she pisses off alot of americans, and there are alot of radicals. there was talk in class the other day, someone suggested that the next president will die in office, weather it be old age or assissination... he was like "if the dems take the white house, every redneck in the country will try to kill obama/hillary" i think thats a bit extreeme, but, the do think they're better and more important than us.
dont they realize that thier power comes from the voters? i believe no one person is any more or less important. to my family and friends, i'm just as important as the next guy in our group, and we couldnt care less about most politicians..... they're worse than us in our book..... gotta love contradicting myself.... its 1:30 am, and i'm f-ing tired

These crime bills are not designed to do anythingother than put more police out, and make sheeple feel like they're doing something other than feeding the police state. The reason the politicos don;t listen to the true facts is because they do have another agenda, the disarming of those who would defend the consitution...it is that simple. They are betting that they can win in the long run. Look how few ppl are shooters today, or the lack of places to shoot compared to 20 yrs ago.
They're trying to de-evolve folks and make them domestic. They donn;t want you to look at the 'unsavory civil disobedience' on which this country was founded. Or for you or your kids to think of civil disobedience as a recourse.
The thing that really scares me about tyrants in the system is: doesn't it seem if you could change the system from within the system, to eliminate tyrants, wouldn't the tyrants be super-quick to close that loophole?
Is it naieve for the US populace to assume that elections are only rigged in other countries, or that puppet dictators and presidents only get hand-picked and funded for power only in Other countries?
/Not a tinfoil hat moment, just food for thought.
