I bought it three weeks ago at a gun show for $300.00 out the door, knowing the bad reputation that the Daly's have. So I took it to my local indoor range just for some trigger and functionality time. I put 100 rounds through it as fast as I could and intentionally tried to heat it up. Not one problem. Disappointed in my failure to cause a failure, I took the same gun not cleaned at all to shoot trap today. I put 200 more rounds down the pipe and I gotta tell you that the friggin thing shot great, I mean better than my friend's $700 plus X2. I had a great time and if this is how you get a bad rep holy crap what do you have to do to get a good one. I will keep up a longevity report but, as of now I'm very happy with the gun.

I have the 20 gauge field synthetic. Got it for $290 a few years back. I have used it from everything to doves-pheasants. It has failed one time. I was heavy into a morning of dove shooting and it started to seize after one shot out the tube. I spit some copenhagen into the action and it worked like a charm for the next two days (with repeated spittings). Cleaned it good when home and put some Rem Oil on it. Perfect since. I love mine!

I strictly use copenhagen to lubricate my firearms... and also to check for barrel temp. If it bubbles, I aint touchin it fer a while.
Always good to hear a good report about the Daly's... Ive often thought of buying one, but I owned a Winchester semi-auto once, and hated it! The Winchester Ranger pump I have, on theother hand is great.
