I got an email today that said orders will taken on April 30. Any submitted before that will be returned. Price will be $495, Inlands only until posted otherwise. They said that clean-up is proving to be more of a problem than anticipated. LOTS of cosmo, and the bolts have been removed.

Also something about bringing the carbine to The Eastern Games (?) where customers can inspect and reserve carbines for mail order.

Another notice that about 500 30-40 Krags in poor condition, many just barreled receivers have been received, but they won't offer them until 2008/2009 due to other projects.

I saw that on the website a couple of days ago. I'm waiting on confirmation that they got my order for a Garand I ordered last week.

Sounds like that's pretty close to market value for a Carbine IF IT HAD a USGI stock and was in very good condition.

These have "FAT" marked Italian stocks and it sounds like they are a bloody mess.

Not sure I'd pay $500 for that.............but SOMEONE will..

I haven't seen a USGI M1 Carbine for $500 regardless of the stock in several years.

In the latest Gun Digest, USGI carbines are going for $700.
I will withold judgement on the "bloody mess" comment till I actually see one. My inclination at this point in time is to buy one, and I am saving my pennies toward that end.
I have always wanted an M1A1 folding stock carbine. One of these might be a good candidate to make one from.

That's a nice looking carbine, and a good deal.
I just looked on gunbroker, and most everything was auctioning at $700++

I've got a very nice Winchester M1 carbine that I wouldn't part with so plan on picking up an Inland and dropping my registered M2 receiver into it. $500 sounds real reasonable to me. Most I see at gun shows are $700 and up and not in great shape.
