i go out there almost every weekend. i bought a membership the first time i went there because i knew it would pay for itself in two months (it did) it's a little more of a drive now (i used to live in temple) but i still go out there because it's such a nice facility, and with the membership, i only pay for my ammo. gimme a holler next time you run out there, maybe we can meet up. hoping to go next weekend.

What is the range like and where is it? I live in Waxahachie and I'm willing to drive south just to find a place to shoot. I've got two new toys that are dying to be fired (1919A4 and a MkII Bren).

I've never heard of the place but it's probably the same distance from Waco to the range I shoot at

I called them but the membership is a little high for me, a friend of mine has some land in killeen (about 900ac) so we just go there to shoot and the money I save I buy more ammo

I have driven past it numerous times. It looks like a nice place. Would be a great place for a central Texas get together.

oh shoot, I've seen that place many-a-time. They've got those cool lookin' cows next to them. They look like black cows and someone took a giant paintbrush with white and painted them right down the middle.

M1, what's the verdict on Webers? Like you I'm not too thrilled about dragging everything on post everytime I want to shoot and having the gate guards flip out (even though I have the permit with me). I guess I could go $200 a year for a decent place.
