I'm getting better

I took a friend of mine out shooting and he brought a boy that has wanted to shoot forever. I also brought my youngest boy with me. The only pics I have are of some of the targets we shot, the rest is video I have to get hosted soon. We set up 7.62x54R shells at 65' for targets and I hit them with my Astra A100 in 9MM. One was shrapnel from a hit 2" low, the others were solid. I hit a few more but could not find them. :) All in all, a nice day. I brought the CETME, AR, Marlin 60, and Rem 870, a 38, 2-357's, and a 9mm. Matt brought his SKS, SKS-D(thanks planning), M1A, 91/30, and Beretta 92FS. The kids had a great time and learned alot. Next trip I'll get fresh batteries for the camera and the tripod.

Very nice shooting and good pics as well. Shame there aren't some more. It is always fun to introduce someone to the shooting sports and I am always glad to hear of someone doing it.

Sweet...talk about reactive targets. I can't find any of the staples I shoot out of the target at the end of a session..though only from 50' I've taken to shooting shotgun wads with my trainer 69 at various distances. That looks like some really good shooting!:scarface:

Thanks, I'm getting better and having lots of fun practicing. This will be my carry piece and I have had not one malfunction with this pistol. We were also using 22 shells for skeet with the 870. Someone would throw it and I would shoot it. Never could find a case after that though. Next time there will be video.
