Receiver option's right now, are;
- CIA SS cast receiver for ~$150. (dealer price)
- JLD/PTR-91 stamped steel for ~$220 (retail price)
US parts are a little bit trickier, some G3 parts are interchangeable.

What I did for now so I would have enough to start using the gun when it's built is :
1) Century cast receiver that I had a friend tig the trunnion into
2,3,4) a USA made mag (3 parts) I bought for $5 at a gun show
5,6,7) Century US made stock set with pistol grip ($25 on ebay)
That got me in the door, now as money becomes available I can switch to US made G3 trigger group (3 parts) and the housing that PTR has and a US made flash hider so I can use cheap G3 mags and the wood stock.

what are the most common parts to replace and how much do they run. im in NY so i will have to make a muzzle break instead of a flash hidder. i work in a machine shop and can tig, weld so I have some advantages working for me. is it fairly easy to pick up a us made stock kit? any other input on what i need would be great.

I would assume they are fairly regular on Ebay, I just happened to be searching for Cetme parts and there it was. I believe Sarco sells a us made PTR set for like $48

The PTR stock set is good stuff, and you might not ever want to change it once you get it on.
Maybe someone on the boards here who is replacing their MB with a FH could sell or give you their MB that they take off if they dont booger it up too much.
The US made mags are made by Thermold, and can be found at a few places on the net. I cant find any of the links I had saved for them , so maybe someone here will chime in.
The mag should really just be a temporary fix until you can track down some trigger components. They pop up every now and then.

Just search for G3 US made furniture. G3 furniture takes VERY minimal modification for fitting... you can do it with an ordinary file, so dont be scared away. Youll get the best search results searching for "G3".
For the PTR-91 furniture, Id search for "PTR-91 US made". I saw a while back a place that was selling the JLD US made G3 plastic stock sets, but can't remember where. Someone will chime in here in a bit and provide a source.
I had a ton of stuff bookmarked and lost it somehow.............
The US made stock set was right above the Thermold mags in my favorites.

The HK91, PTR91 and G3 parts interchange with each other however some of those parts will interchange with the Cetme and some will not. For example individual trigger group parts (hammer, trigger, sear) are NOT interchangable. However it is possible to replace an entire Cetme fire control group(FCG) with an HK91, PTR91 or G3 FCG. If you go this route you can get 4 US made parts from PTR91 just in the FCG (hammer, sear, trigger, trigger housing). PTR91 also sells the US made furniture. I would personally try to use only a US made pistole grip if possible. This would give you the option of using all G3 furniture and mags.
Here is a link to the PTR91 site(you may have to call about some of the US made FCG parts)

Here is a list of some of the parts that will and Will not interchange.

I personally would recommend the PTR91 receiver it is the best US made receiver. I am pretty sure they have them in stock at Vector arms you will have to call they do not list them on their site.

Make sure you read about section 922r and understand it! You willl find lots of other good info there too.
