To get money for a gun they sold? I have never and a guy want's to use it to pay for a gun, is there anyway I can get screwed? I'm not in the habit of shipping out goods untill I get paid, "in god we trust, all others pay cash" type of mentality. TIA

I never have. I was asked once before but I insisted cash first. Being that they must pay before they can take posession of the box, I wouldn't think it would be a problem though.

if you do and he changes his mind and refuses it you will pay shipping back to you. i never do COD's. get your money up front first. if he wants it he do it if not just pass and find someone else to buy it. there is to much ( bad)stuff that can happen in shipment for a gun to travel both ways.

I ship alot of stuff for one of my other hobbies that I trade and sell alot for. I almost NEVER take COD or Cash after Inspection, only with people ive done alot of deals with and who are in my "pretty damned trusted buyers" list. Very. Short. List.

Get cash up front. Cover your ass first, hes welcome to look for something at a pawnshop or local transaction if he wants to look first.

If you want to make the deal go thru, offer him a middle ground, inspection period or such. But my policy is to pretty much NEVER ship without payment. they dont like it, too bad.
