My wife may get a promotion at work and it may require us to move, The question is if we end up moving to one of those states like NY,MASS,MD ect.. how dose that effect my gun collection ? is it illeagle to bring my texas owned guns to a non gun loving state? I have no family here and no one I could leave them with and I have no intention of getting rid of them just to comply with some jacked up local law that is aganest my RKBA.

To avoid prosecution your firearms must comply with local law...There is no "grandfather clause" when moving from state to state.

but i'd sure be glad to keep them!

sersously though, if you live close enough to the border of a state that will allow your guns, live there, even if its an hour commute, better than giving up a life style you love, etc. my $0.02

I would turn down the promotion. Unless there is A LOT of money involved.

you could always keep your guns with a friend or family member who lives in a free state, or put them into storage in a free state
