in most cases it means research and development...In this one I have no idea.

Damn, I liked the idea of the R-22. Gonna spike in price now.

Enigma, One of my local gunshops sold the r-22 for a while, and had a lot of complaints about the R-22 after about 200 rds. Apparently Rhineland did not torgue anything down or use locktite because the screws holding the r-22 together would start falling out soon after the first trip to the range. This is what i heard when comparing the r-22, to the walther g-22.

None of the screws were torqued on mine, but you have to be careful since it is all aluminum.

My woes so far:

Took 2 months to ship after charging my card
Shipped wrong barrel, took over a month to correct
firing pin broke after about 80 rds.
not very accurate, but I haven't taken it back out to try different ammo
picky on mag choice

cool concept, looks neat, but my bull 10-22 puts it to shame accuracy wise
