i didn't know what forum to put this in so ill just throw it here sorry theres just so many sub forums on here now :) anyway i was at the local shop today and there was an older mini 14 with original folding stock, what are these things going for these days? like whats a fair price?

I've seen them right around $550-$650 in the Twin Cities maybe seen one as low as $450...hope this helped?

hmm, this ones going for 999, and i just checked gunbroker and they were about the same... do you know if they were original?

naw, some had OEM folders.
my bud just picked one up with 4 mags for $600? at a fun show. VGC+

(but this guy could talk you into selling him your skin,
then talk you down in price... and get you to toss in a kidney.
im not kidding)

ive seen 10-22s with an OEM folder also.

ya have to be careful tho, many after-market ones out there.
if your in it for an OEM model, make sure.
its a few hundred bucks differance!

that wouldnt be to bad. did it have a bayo lug?

way back when, they even had wood upper foregrips, instead of
the black plastic ones. MAN they look sweet!

Is the stock an nice folder, if so it sounds in the right range, but if just a ramline or other after market one not as good. If its a chote, or other plastic(synthetic) they arent as nice as the wood/metal ones, you just dont see them everyday.

i don't have the serial number but it looks to be pre ban, it appears to have a bayo lug i know it has a pretty old school flash suppressor on it

I picked up a mini 14 from this guy for $369 used with aftermarket stock. He gets several used one in from time to time. Wal-mart here sells them new for $549.
