I want a walnut stock, but not in too nice of shape, cause I'm going to be making it fit my Universal M1, so I don't want something that is collectable.
I know Cheaper than dirt has them, but I was looking for something around $40 or less with the handguard.
TIA

If you find more than one at that price, yell at me, I paid fifty for one with all the metal and handguard for my Plainfield, and would like an extra to maybe play with the 10-22 thought.

be sure to call them first, they may not really have it in stock. there is a girl ( lady, i cannot remember her name) that is in the back and she really knows what they have in stock. if a man answers tell him you want to talk to the lady in back. i have had better luck doing it that way.

They said at tulsa, they are out of the beater stocks. I might have to call and see what they have at the store.

last time i had checked, ebay had quite a selection of M1 carbine stocks for dirt cheap. It's worth a look but you should make sure you check out what the shipping cost is.
