Cabelas: Scarbourough Maine

Well I took a ride up to the new Cabelas this morning to see around. It sure is a nice store . all on one floor , good people there, and a pretty nice " Gun LIbrary" . Not to much Mil-Surp stuff there, but I saw a few rifles over $20,000 there. Was a fun trip and if your bored and need something to do consider it .

Twenty large for a rifle? For that kind of dough, it better go out and shoot the deer for you while you sleep, then field dress it and bring it to your doorstep. What kind of rifle was it?

Now as soon as I read my post I knew someone was gonna ask what kinda rifle it was. Guess what I forget !! Im gonna go back with some buddies later so I will do my homework and have the info . Still trying to remember , but my brain cells seem to be getting further apart the older I get !!! LOL

i went to the hartford, ct one a few weekends ago... very very nice, but not much in the ways of military surplus guns. also, the guy behind the counter when i asked to look at a Sig P250 didnt know his *** from his elbow. couldnt read the tag that said P250 that i was pointing right at!

20Gs for a rifle? It's gotta be one of those custom safari rifles. I've seen shotguns go for 20Gs easy, they are those Italian ones with all the scroll work.

There are 22s at Bass Pro for $10k. That must have been an average rifle.:icon_biggrin:
