20 minutes to late

Well went to the local gun range yesterday and when I walked in the gun room there before my eyes was a beautiful springfield armory WWII vintage M1 Garand with matching serial #'s and a bore that was darn near perfect. I immediately whiped out the wallet pulled the credit card turned to my buddy who works there and said charge it I'm taking this home. Chris looked at me with a big froun on his face and told me a guy just bought it 10 mins earlier and that he was out on the range shooting. I damn near cried the price was right. Oh well such is my luck lately. Better luck next time.

Ya I was pretty upset. I have wanted a decent M1 Garand for a very long time. Oh well I guess thats what keeps us in the gun collecting business is having fun looking for just the right one.

Well, I just stopped by one of the many Fun and Pawn shops I haunt every week and picked up a Remington 870 in the box Never Shot used with all chokes vent rib in 3.5 inch mag with rifled slug barrel for 350.00 and a Benielle 12 gauge auto almost new in box for 550.00 both in black! They had been pawned months ago and someone never came back and they were just putting them on the rack when I walked in! The best 900.00 I have spent in a while! Don't give up! The deals are out there!
