I figured I would log in the new site with my OWN darn intro thread...

Sad to see cetmerifles.com go...I hope Mike still has time to check in on the madness he is responsible for!! :)

Well, in with the new! M1 Tanker will lead us into the next twenty million wasted hours on-line!!! Lead the way Tank!!!! :)

Four months? You have got to be having withdrawl symptoms by now. Rush right out and pick up a nice Mosin as they are still rather inexpensive and great shooters. That should give you a "fix" for a while. (LOL)

I think its just been three weeks since I got another firearm but had one heck of a year last year though. Long time on see there longhorn too.

Well I've got quite a few irons in the fire right now....plus I got nailed with the flu pretty hard a week ago. This is the LAST year I shrug off getting a flu shot!!!

I hate being a private again. I used to be theoriginalpigpen cause when I first joined cetmerifles Pigpen was already taken. And whats up with the Army insignia?(no offence to you Army dogs) I liked the USMC rank I used to have. It reminded me of my beloved Corps. Either way glad the forum is up again with pretty much the same people from cetmerifles. You guys seem like good people, thats why I always came back.

I like the new site! Cetmerifles.com was already evolving into militaryfirearm.com anyway. (Which is a good thing in my opinion.)

Hi, I'm Chris. I usualy just read the posts and gain as much smarts as possible from them. Usualy a man of few words, unless I know somthing that is real helpfull. I was a member of cetmerifles, sad to see all the good info go. Glad to see another good site here. Just sayin hi.:)

Our fearless leader M-1 is US Army...a tanker, IIRC ;).
Perro was USMC...thus the ranks--changing of the guard, changing of the ranks.

I'm all for the Army ranks... they make sense to me now... I get lost in the upper NCO ranks on the Marine side sometimes...

I figured tank was Army. Nuthin wrong with that. Hell, in my family we have had someone in every branch of the service except the Coast Guard. My dad retired from the Air Force, so did my bro, my uncle was in the Army, my nephew was in the Navy & I was the Jarhead. We are a very patriotic family & we all love guns.

I was in the Army and Army Reserve in the 1979 /81. Then reinlisted in Reserves 86/91 So I like the Army Ranks myself

What kind of sad sack hacked the old site? I thought cetmerifles crashed, the server blew up, and everyone moved away. It was like a bad dream.
I'm too new to know, but hopefully I'll be around for awhile. Oh yeah I'm in south central Tx.

I know your sick of this Tanker, but I wanna thank you again for starting another board up from the ashes of the great Cetmerifles. There is no doubt in my mind this is going to be a jam-up site. From what I see you got a HELL of a kickstart, It looks great,everything seems to be in order,and the old members are back- we even gained quite a few. Good job.

Heard from Tanstaafl that CETMERifles had gone down. Wandered by there today, found the link, came over.

Steve's in my neck of the woods at the moment, and we're going shooting tonight. I'll let him know this is here.

Good to see you back, but the old fourm is dead, killed by a hacker. Nothing remained unless it was stored away from the server from what I understand.

I think i have come to the right place. I have yet to fire my beut the i have recently attained via falfiles. i know she is a cai but looks to be a good one, no ground bolt head.

i'll report later on how she shoots, i have some SA for her to gobble down.

I just figured I could come back to this thread and add to my post count....Kinda frusterating to go from W-4 to E-1.

lol, on the old boards I had a bunch of questions and inane chit-chat BS but now its like I've got very little of value to add to the discussions.

Most frusterating thing is I don't have all of my gun pr0n threads posted here.
