says 54...much shorter than a ought 6...shorter than a 8mm as well

from what I can find on this here internet, for whatever reason the Argentine stuff was labeled as 54 for some reason, but it's actually 53... can't figure out why though.

I just bought some 7.62x54r with a head stamp of the number 10 and 53? Is this Czech, Bulgarian, Hungarian or neither?

I got some of that bulg stuff as well...Good stuff. How much may I ask did you give for it? I paid $100 for 1200 a few months ago.

Bought 30 rounds for $4.50. Not a great deal but the local gun shop staff was super helpful about the 91/30 I just purchased from them. Figured throw some ammo in with the transaction. They had a lot of 7.62x54r, 8mm, and some Paki .308 ($5 a box!).
