Is there any difference in the bullet for 7.62x39 for the ruger rifle vs a regular ak? Reloading data from bubba says for the ruger it's .308 bullet, and for an AK it's .311?

I thought 7.62x39 was all the same? Bubba is loading 1.5k of new 7.62x39 and I want to make sure I can shoot it in all my rifles?

Anyone have any feedback?
Thanks

From what I have read, Ruger built the rifles with forceing cone at the chamber end of the barrel and used a .308 bore, to allow use of soviet bloc/standard ammo.

Reload to 7.62x39 commie specs, that is what the rifle was designed for.

30.06, 7.62X51 and 7.62X39 all use the .30 cal bullet. Just watch the weights for the loads, stay in the tables for the rifle and all should be fine..

That's what I thought, But I am not the one doing the reloading and the brither in law is a fanatic about what the reloading book says. I try and keep things simple and if I can I try and use the same 30 cal bullet for a lot of loads. Just wanted to run this past you folks here and see if there was anything special about the mini 30, if this weather ever breaks I have got to take it out...
Thanks,
