I had been wanting one of them but didn't want to deal with the transfer to an 01. Figures I find out about it the day after I pay for my 5906:icon_lol: . Hopefully they have a bunch, because my gun budget is done for a while.

I have a job, I try to get Veterans employed. However, I also have 2 kids, house payment, car payment & other expendetures. Plus I just got an AK in January, recently ordered a case of 762x54, a case of 762x25, some 30 cal tracer projectiles & some misc. parts so right now my gun money is low. I could sell one of my guns but when ever I do that I always regret it. I guess I need start stashing money in my underwear drawer. If you get one let us know how it is.

Been thinking of getting one of these for a while. Now that they're C&R I may call Monday and get one.

Yes, I do love it. It is an excellent carry piece. Extremely accurate, good mag capacity, and great sights. Ambidextrous safety. A grip that fits my hand perfectly, it points like my finger. Light, compact, and easy to carry. My favorite 9mm makarov pistol, I sold my East German Mak after I shot my CZ82 the first time.
Plus, it just looks COOL!

Now I need to scratch together $200... Wisconsin needs to raise the Vet GI Bill so I have more money to spend on guns... or give campus security people a raise...

I've got one. It's a tad snappy, but recoil is manageable and the pistol is pretty accurate. My hands are a little small but it fits them perfectly, better than any other double stack I've handled. Fun gun overall.

i love mine. very accurate, low recoil, easy to strip and clean, and very reliable even without cleaning (ran 800 rounds through it in 2 days without cleaning). It is very advanced for such a cheap pistol (it was among the first handguns to have ambidextrous controls). the double action is suprisingly smooth on mine, and the single action is pretty good too. It can be carried cocked and locked or with the hammer down and the hammer does not even rest on the firing pin, like on the CZ52. It's one of my favorite pistols to shoot.

I had one..... loved it...... sold it :(......
I really wish I had it back, but I cant regret it too much as I made money on it, and put that money towards my Glock.
Id love to have another... It ties with my G27 as the most accurate pistol Ive ever owned. The cost of 9 mak was a turnoff for me, but it would make a great carry piece, either for a main carry piece or a backup.

:icon_question: really??? the stuff ive been using was only 14 cents per rounds, I didn't think that was too pricy. most of the plinking ammo seems reasonably priced that Ive seen, and of course the defensive ammo will cost a bit, in any caliber

I could only fin it at Cabelas and in 1 gunshop around here, and it was always closer to $1 a round if I remember right.
The pistol shot EXTREMELY well with the Hornady defense ammo, and I rolled up a couple rabbits with the stuff... literally, the bullet stopped inside, and the rabbits rolled back.
Man........ I wish I had that one back....... but theres a lot of stuff I wish I had back, and if I had them all back, I probably wouldnt have the guns Ive got now.

Thanks for the heads up on this. I called yesterday and ordered 2. The gentleman I spoke with said good thing I called when I did because they were flying out the door. I have a PA 63 in 9mm Mak I like to shoot so I have all this ammo(95 gr. hollowpoints), why not spread it around a little bit.

i bought a CZ 83, almost the same, for a hundred bux fromt the rod and gun club in bamberg germany when i was stationed there from 88-98. the wall was still up but somehow they got them in to sell. great gun, very easy takedown. got it for my wife, but unfortunately i don't remember if i sold or traded it, but i have my C&R so after this Mosin pistol purchase, i'll have to get one.
