So I'm asking the gurus. I rec'ed a Century Arms CETME Sporter 308. It is a little beat up but I will take care of the. I have already learned from my search on this site how to refinish her.
I have one a couple of questions for you guys... My CETME does not have a flash surpressor. What is involved in adding one?
second can the mags from the HK work with this weapon?
I plan to replace the furniture, it has black plastic now but the butt stock has a crack and the front is discolored.
I went through the picture thread and I have too say I was drooling at the possibilities.
Thanks in advance for your help and direction and I look forward to contributing to the site.

A flash hider is definately an option. There is a thread here on a barrel threading kit for rent:

As for the HK mags, the CETME receivers are modeled after G3 receiver dimensions, so yes, the HK mags should work with a little tweaking.
There are several options in replacing the furniture, but keep in mind that the buttstock and handguard may well be US made 922r compliance pieces. See here for more info on 922r:
