Gentlemen,
where can I find the instructions for DIY correction of the canted FSB?

Order new sling eye pin from RTG
Remove sling eye pin, by drilling out peened side, heat with Mapp torch, remove, then heat up triple tree till it moves, turn till it's where you want it, let cool.
Run drill though hole for sling pin, install new one, heat end and re-peen.
Did I leave anything out?

Thank you for the quick reply. I was hoping it can be done "cold". Hate to burn the finish, and refinish.
Guess I will just scope it for now. When it gets nicely scratched, I'll replace the rear sight with HK drum, straight the FSB, and refinish.
One more question,....the HK21 black rubber pad that I see on some sites,....does it fit G3 plastic stock, or does it need fitting.
Thanks again.

It will fit right on Factory Plastic stock, but they run around $75 when you can find them.

Pity they are only black - I'd like a green one.

Me too!
I found this one for 60 (spendy, but worth it!), and I was hoping I can find a green one. My Cetme is dressed up in HK green.

Your other option is to shim the rear sight.
It requires only a simple modification of just the paddle-aperture.

Thank you for that link W.E.G.!
I knew how to do it, but it was a great and amusing read! This guy sure sucks in math, but he can write! There is a novelist hidden in there, somewhere.

No insult,....just confirming what he said! He even showed his report card proving his inability to do math. Funny read.

I guess that's what we call a "verbal reach-around." :toothless:
