My first AR build

I recently built (from a kit) my first AR. It went pretty well i think, i learned a lot more about how the internals of an AR work, had a lot of fun doing it! The only mistake i made was a small scuff on the receiver from driving the bolt catch roll pin in.

MEGA lower
Del-ton mid length rifle kit
Houge grip
Magpul trigger guard
UTG quad rail
UTG flip-up rear sight
cheap vertical grip

I know that UTG is known as a cheap brand, but i must admit that i am impressed with the quality of the railed forend, vey sturdy! So far the rear sight has worked great also. Now i need an optic that will co-witness the sights and i think that i'll be set!

On the scuff, you too eh, did the same on my last build, only done two though, both M-4's. On the UTG stuff, it seems the fore grip is sturdy for sure to me too, I have a six place stock from them too, along with other parts, they compare to the us stuff I have.

Looks good, and I used some sharpie marker to darken the scuff I made.

Dont sweat the UTG stuff...this is your first build right? SO in that case this is your test gun, you next will be the pimp daddy of all mall ninja guns!!

Very nice. I have a UTG quad rail on one of mine and haven't had any problems, I've even had different optics on it and it held zero just like the IMO overly priced ones.
