View Full Version : What followed me home from the show
Well I went to this gun show yesterday, did not have much cash... certainly did not need to buy anything... and came home will all of this....
LLAMA 45, less than 300.00
3 boxes of German 7.62x39 for 10.00
couple of 1 qt nagalene bottles CHEAP..
and a box of some kind of 308 ammo.... CHEAP...
Well heres the pics.....
And some primers because I goofed at gander mountain the other day and bought large rifle magnum primers when I needed small rifle primers and they don't take returns

Argentine .308. Does it have the NATO cross on it?

Nice haul. I wish you were closer as I would gladly swap you Large Rifle Primers for the Mag Large rifle Primers:cry2:

Very nice score, indeed.
Phoenix is having a big gun show later this month and I hope to be there.
But, in all honesty, the bargains at gun shows just aren't there like they used to be.
When you factor in gas for the mileage, parking fees, perhaps a lunch, etc. you have to find some real bargains to make up the "gimme" expense of just going.
But I'm glad you had a good day.

Kellner, one day show that replaced the one at the high school ice rink cause the commies in rapids did not want it in their town. Was a busy/crowded show... Not many bargins, went mainly to see if it was worth having a table at for the brother in law. Next time they have one bubba will be there with a table or two.

Nice find on the Llama .45.
The show up here in Wausau last month was sounds similar to what you saw in Rapids. Lots of lightly rusted Mosins and SKS', table of beat up Garands and what I would chalk up to garage sale finds. They had moved it from one of the ice rinks in Marathon Park to a much smaller building next to the college (technically still part of the park).

DAA, be careful if that thing has a little plastic part holding the detent pins between the safety and the take down lever, dont break it if it is plastic as llama is out of busness again, and that part is hard to come by. A friend has a compact llama 45 and his has that part broke, and besides asking arniz I havent found one for him, so dont break any of the parts that are not interchangeing with a 1911. That said, I have two llamas, an omni and a maxII double stack.
