I've been gathering up stuff to do this other cetme kit(CIA/no barrel) I picked a few months ago and began a little work on it today. I removed the receiver stub from the trunnion this morning and as soon as it was done I found it was cracked right thru where the barrel pin installs....A chunk fell right off into my hand.
I figured I'd share this since I see many with greater problems posted from time to time and didn't want to be left out.

Yeah. It's ruined where I don't even consider any type of repair possible. Apex has them so there's another coming to replace it. This one is for the future.....I'm in no rush to do the build because there are still more compliance parts to search out and I've yet to dabble with my vz58 kits.

The kit I got from CFS was the same way, someone was a little aggressive when taking out the barrel pin. I picked one up directly from century PACE0021 CETME TRUNION-ORIGz.
