rear sight pen

Hello,
you guys ever have problems with your sight pen falling out ??
i just bought 50 G3 mags and was fitting them as needed and i had to turn the rifle over and slap the butt several times and i guess thats how it started falling out ,, after loosing it 4 times from falling out i went and just threaded the sight hole 8/32 and used a 3/4 X 8/32 screw no more loosing pens for me anymore ,, im slowing working all of the bugs out of the rifle still have a couple parts comming but im close to having a 100% rock & rolling Cetme .

on G3 mags from 84 and up no FTF
on 83 and down to 63 you can tell a early mag as it has the nipple on the rear at the top and in the center of the mag i had to bend the right side lip up alittle so it would lift up and to the left of the round when the bolt was closing .

being a country boy it didnt take long to figure out what that bayonet is used for .

You can also tell the date of the mag by looking at the date code at the bottom on the side. It will be coded "MM/YY".

Ive never heard of a rifle not liking certain years of mags... Ive heard of rifles not liking G3 mags or not liking Cetme mags, but not certain years inside of one or the other.

btw, thats the way I used to set my rifle down at the range before I got the bipod... Now I just set it on the bipod... Im paranoid the ground will give way, and Ill mess up my scope. I sharpened my bayonet so much that I can shave my arm with it... Just waiting to stick a pig with it one of these days.
